We not only focus on food, but also give back to our community through initiatives like Home Meals for Veterans and partnerships that support sustainability.

Now, we’re looking for a Marketing Intern who wants to join our team and continue building the Purple Basil brand!

This is a hands-on internship where your work directly impacts the business.

You will:

• Create engaging social media content and support marketing campaigns for our mobile restaurant and catering services
• Assist in building partnerships with local businesses
• Support growth of earned media by increasing customer generated content, social media tags, and reviews
• Represent Purple Basil at local networking events and community interactions
• Track performance and help identify what is working
• Assist in capturing photo and video content

This year, Purple Basil was selected to participate in the Green Bay Packers Mentor Protégé Program. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our mentor and gain real marketing industry insight. 

Own projects, launch campaigns, and see real results. This is an experience you can confidently put on your resume.

Become part of the team and represent Purple Basil through our day to day operations, networking events and community engagements. 

• Current student in Marketing (Sophomore to Senior)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Creative mindset with some understanding of branding
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Ability to adapt and adjust marketing strategies as needed
• Ability to travel locally
• Basic design experience such as Canva
• Photography experience preferred, but not required

Position Details

Location: Plover, Wisconsin Rapids, and remote
Schedule: 10 to 15 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends)
Duration: May through August 2025
Pay: Starting at $15 per hour plus mileage reimbursement

Part-Time

What You'll Do:

• Set up and maintain the food truck
• Take customer orders
• Handle transactions
• Perform light cooking duties
• Keep service areas clean
• Create amazing customer experiences
